1. The Substance - A perfect, hilarious fairy tale. Coralie Fargeat loves butts and I support her.

2. Oddity - No one does haunted objects like Damien McCarthy and no one does revenge like a scorned psychic twin.

TV

1. Evil - I’m a sucker for a procedural, especially when they involve demons and giant monster pigs (etc). I could watch these three leads forever.

2. True Detective: Night Country - HOLY SHIT JODIE FOSTER AND KALI REIS and this perfect goddamn mystery.

Podcasts

1. Straightiolab - Love these gay guys basically giving me a phD in semiotics.

2. Glamorous Trash - It’s a miracle when a rebrand gets better and this trash gets better every day. The deep dives alone deserve pulitzers.

Books

1. Diavola - Haunted houses + Italy + an entertainingly nightmarish family and a genuinely surprise path to its end was an excellent horror read.

2. The Eyes are the Best Part - a revenge story where a young girl gets ecstatic pleasure eating eyeballs: that’s it, that’s the book and it’s great.
